Festival Fix

Glastonbury may be over but festi – season has just begun! With Oxygen, Tennets Vital and Electric Picnic just around the corner we still have plenty more fun in the sun (or muddy madness) to come. When creating your festival look, the first thing to buy is your wellies! (unless your guaranteed sunshine, gladiator sandals are perfect!)

Wellies: Have fun with the design of your wellies, it’s not often you’ll get to wear these so buy a pair that makes a statement. I came across these two pairs on wellieboots.com.

I love the design on these boots. The black background lets the colours pop, definitely a statement piece!

I have to say I think that these boots are my favourite that I’ve come across. I just love floral’s and the colour of these boots are so sweet and summery. The good thing about wellies is that any mud wipes right off so you can afford to choose a pretty design. These boots are so in trend keeping with the spring/summer floral style.

The great thing about going to festivals is that any style goes. Whether it’s rock, earthy, bohemian, flower power or girly everything looks cool. A personal style of mine would probably be a girly flirty floral frock paired with some Ray-Bans and a demin shirt/waistcoat.

Another item that I have been seeing everywhere and have fallen in love with is these cute daisy head piece’s. They are so pretty and girly, perfect for adding some glamour to your festival look.

These Ray Ban sunglasses are the perfect accessory. I love the colour of them, the white will go with everything and the pretty design instead really pops against the white.

To complete the finishing touches, add lots of bracelets, rings and necklaces to make the outfit really stand out.  On that note remember to always carry an over-sized handbag to fit your wellies in incase it gets warm, and bring a warm jumper/cardigan for those cold festival evenings. Have fun!
