Drink, Dance, Laugh, Love

What. A. Weekend. That had to be the best wedding I have ever attended, and the most loved up affair. I know weddings tend to be about love, but I have been to some were the alcohol is the main celebration. From fairy lights to Maura’s rap, (my brilliantly insane cousin), it was a fabulous celebration of Julie and Eddie.

I love weddings that take place during the summer months, it’s so much easier to pick an outfit. My outfit was more of pretty meets edgy. The beautiful lemon chiffon dress was the most comfortable dress I have ever worn. I paired it with a turquoise waterfall blazer, a coral clutch/jewellery and finished it off with my fabulous Kurt Geiger turquoise shoes.

My favourite part of the dress is the pretty coral flower attached to the waistline. It sat delicately on the lemon tassels that wrapped around my waist. You can see from the picture how perfectly my jewellery matched with it. Originally, I was going to paint my nails coral, but instead I opted for these nude polka dot designs for something different.

I was surprised at how difficult I found trying to find a coral clutch at this time of year. I thought it would have been so easy, but when I came across this one, I had to get it. The size of it is perfect as it holds a lot. (I bring a lot of crap.) Check out my Game of Thrones style ring. As most people will know, I’m not your typical girly girl so I had to throw my funky ring into the mix.

The only downfall to my outfit was my shoes. As much as I love my heels, they were just not the type of shoes you can party in. (I should have known better.) I know they say beauty is pain, but the pain was too much for me to bear. Thankfully, I brought my trusty flat sandals, so my feet were pain-free during boogie time.

To top it all of, I had my new hair to add a little spice into the mix. I know I probably sound full of myself but I am so in love with my new do. The dip dye colour is so pretty and suttle. I didn’t want it to be a harsh colour so I opted for a warm copper colour.

I had such a great day and I feel kind of sad it’s over. It was a beautiful day and I’m so happy for Julie and Eddie. It was great to see my family and have the chance to drink, dance and laugh with them.

I would love it if you could let me know what you think about the outfit. Sorry for such a lengthy post! (I had to include the ‘poser’ image at the end!) Hope you all had a great weekend.
