Victoria Square Ladies’ Day at Down Royal Racecourse

Last night I attended a fabulous launch event hosted by Victoria Square. As any stylish lady will know, on Friday 14th September, Down Royal Racecourse will hold its 4th annual Victoria Square Ladies Day.

We were treated to an exclusive fashion show debuting Victoria Squares stunning autumn styles. Every single look had all of us fashionistas captivated as Rebecca McKinney’s finest Autumn picks strutted the runway. The dresses, ladies suits and even the beautiful male model, Richard, set my pulse racing.

They key trends for this sophisticated event will feature classic lace, vibrant prints and of course, a Grainne Maher hat for those looking to make the ultimate statement. I have to say, her collection of hats from the runway were magnificent. I have never experimented with hats but I after last night, I’m in love.

The stunning Tiffany Brien wore a beautiful 1950’s inspired strapless dress from Hobbs. Paired with an amazing red jeweled hat by Grainne Maher and fabulous Kurt Geiger heels, this outfit is guaranteed to turn heads on the day.

Not only did Rebecca select dresses but also a bold and beautiful classic trouser suit from Pied a Terre at House of Fraser. Worn with a Biba blouse and a cream over-sized hat, I loved this classic look as you can accessorize it to suit your own style.

As we are not guaranteed the weather in Northern Ireland, this next look would be perfect if it’s a little cold and cloudy. As the stunning Carys graced the runway in a magnificent red Herve Leger dress, my heart skipped a beat.  I adored the Diane Von Furstenberg black coat, together they made the perfect match.

Thank you to Victoria Square and Rebecca McKinney for giving us a sneak peek as to what will be the key trends on the day. If any of you ladies would like some private styling for the day, please contact Rebecca by emailing her: ps@victoriasquare.com
