Bringing Style September to a spectacular end, Victoria Square hosted their Style Soiree AW12 at Elmwood Hall, Queen’s University. Bringing us all on a journey of enchantment and style, we entered a world of pure imagination.
The fabulous team at Victoria Square uncovered the essential looks and key pieces for this season in a spooktacular array of styles from designers, high street and everything else in between.
Kicking the show off with a bang (quite literally!) a crash of thunder echoed around the hall as smoke appeared unveiling a stunning model in its mist. A mysterious masked male fox took centre stage and began singing famous lines from the classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’s “Pure Imagination.”
As the DJ began to mix his beats, the models strutted their stuff in this seasons five essential styles – Winter Coats and Furs, Heritage Tweeds and Checks, Baroque Prints and Purple Opulence, Jewel Tones and Old Hollywood Glamour will all play a huge role in creating Autumns key looks.
Victoria Squares Personal Stylist, Rebecca Mc Kinney, did a spectacular job in creating the latest AW trends. Each look was jaw dropping. Each time a new look entered the catwalk, my heart skipped a beat.
The fashionistas who attended this stunning show were spotted trending block colours, statement accessories and print dresses. I decided to wear my fuchsia pink trousers from Lipsy. I paired it with a plain black vest top and blazer from Topshop and H&M. My statement necklace and mustard handbag were the perfect accessories on the night.
As we sipped on cocktails, the DJ continued to spin some tunes. It was by far the best fashion show I have attended. Congratulations to Rebecca and everyone at Victoria Square for putting on a magnificent show.
