Tonight I attended the fabulous Designer Boutiques Catwalk Show at Belfast Fashion Week. The best boutiques from across Northern Ireland unveiled their latest AW looks to a jam-packed audience at the Fashion Week Centre in the Europa Hotel.
Talking about the event, Cathy Martin, Director of FASHIONWEEK said: “Stylistas at last night’s extravaganza were treated to a night of glamour and flair as Natoria from Larne, The Snooty Fox from Dungannon and Diamond Dolls from Banbridge hit the city alongside chic Belfast boutiques Jourdan, Blush and Harrison from the Lisburn Road and key pieces from designers Una Rodden and Grainne Maher.
“The quality and elegant fashions on display were a credit to the hard-working boutique stores who continue their mission to bring fashion to ladies in their areas and beyond.”
I had such an amazing evening and meet some lovely people. It was also great to see some of my FABB ladies and gents (Jeff & Keith) there. I was excited to be seated in the front row so I really got an up close view of the magnificent styles that were on offer.
I wore my tan jumpsuit from Topshop paired with my cream waterfall blazer and Nine West peep toe shoes. I actually loved my outfit as it was so comfortable to wear. It’s been a while since I’ve worn a jumpsuit so Fashion Week was the perfect place to showcase it.
I have to say, this colour is one I wouldn’t usually wear. When I bought this jumpsuit, I had dark hair, but now that I’ve lightened it the colour seems to work better.
With my accessories, I opted for the minimal look. A simple statement ring and boyfriend watch was my choices for the evening. I also included my favourite and very petite cream and gold clutch bag from Accessorize. I couldn’t fit very much in it, but tonight I was going for the less is more look.
The coming days are packed with Fashion Weeks shows, so I’ll have plenty more posts coming on what I wore to them. Have fun!
