Another great night as Belfast’s finest designers exhibited the most sought after trends for this season. I was lucky enough to attend both shows that were on offer and it truly was a FABB evening.
At the first show I was seated with my fellow fab gals which was so much fun. It is always great to see them as we eat, sleep and breathe fashion. (Therefore the conversation never runs dry!) This show featured Autumn/Winter trends from a range of Castle Court stores including Debenhams, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge. The selection of styles were amazing and so on trend for AW.
As soon as the show ended, I met up with my amazing friend, Sarah. As we gossiped the evening away, the second show kicked off with quite the stylish introduction from Zoe Salmon. The show was full to the brim of Belfast’s most stylish ladies and gents. Once again, it was a tremendous show and the models and staff at CMPR put together a magnificent event.
Tonight, my style was quite edgy and kind of Victorian. I wore my black leather trousers with my very victorian like blouse from River Island and my faux fur gilet from Topshop. Paired with my grey studded courts and red lips, I kept my accessories to a minimum.
The sleeves on my blouse were quite dramatic and at times I considered not wearing it but hey, fashion is about making a statement and pushing the boat out a little. (At least that’s what I keep telling myself.)
As much as I love my shoes and these ones on particular, my feet are at this moment, swollen and in so much pain. I know they say beauty is pain but this is ridiculous. I’m seriously asking myself why I even wore them but I made my decision based on purely fashion and not comfort. (Ignore the hole in my foot, I broke it a while back and it’s a mess!)
It was the perfect way to spend my Friday evening and I’m so excited for tomorrow night’s show. Hope you all have a great weekend.
