So like I said in my last post, I’m wanting to continue showing you all, some of my buys in the last few days. I was out last night with a friend from London for a girly dinner/drinks evening and I thought this would be the perfect time to wear my latest buys. Now, I know I’ve said I’m not a big fan of the sales due to the crazy queues and buying things for the sake of it. However, I have to admit that I was very impressed with the sale at Urban Outfitters in Victoria Square.
No queues, no rubbish and a very happy me. I spied this pretty wine coloured maxi skirt that has a spilt up the back. It is all very elegant and it honestly made me feel so good about myself the minute I tried it on. I love it when you have that feeling shopping, no better way to help build your confidence. 🙂
It was reduced from £35 down to £25, but when I got to the till, it was marked down to £22, brilliant! 🙂 I immediately knew what I was going to wear it with. I wanted to keep things simple and let the skirt make a statement. You can’t really see the colour of the skirt in the picture but paired with my cream blouse, they were the perfect combination together.
When it came to accessories, I wore my favourite skull necklace that is big enough to see but does not over power my look. I love a clutch on a night out, my studded one from Warehouse, fitted into my studded theme nicely.
This is one of my favourite clutch bags, it is like a Mary Poppins one, seems to hold everything a girl needs on a night out!
To finish off my look, I wore my nude/pink court platforms from Office. I had spotted these a while ago in Office and they were £68. Again, I wasn’t willing to pay that kind of money. I was extremely happy when I found out they were on sale… for £12. You can imagine my sheer joy! 😉
I hope you all have a great weekend and have your New Year’s Eve outfits at the ready. Have fun and a very Happy New Year!
