A Girl’s Best Friend

As Marilyn Monroe once sang, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”. There is no doubt that a diamond can put a sparkle into any ladies eye. And although the piece of jewellery I’m about to show you isn’t quite a diamond, to me, it’s the next best thing. 🙂

I was given this magnificent piece of art when I was in London. It was Marks & Spencer’s press show for their SS13 collection. As a thank you for attending, everyone was presented with a bottle of Lyn Harris perfume and this fabulous ribbon and diamante inspired statement necklace.

What I love most about this is how it looks like a pretty snowflake. I wore it on Christmas Day, I thought it was the perfect accessory for the festive day.

The beautiful blue ribbon adds an elegant touch and allows me to adjust the size depending on what look I’m going for. It is the perfect statement necklace, I was over the moon when I received it.

So, onto the perfume. Lyn Harris is a well-known perfume expert and again, I was so excited when I spotted the perfume bottle in the gift bag. La Rose was the scent I got and it smells delicious. It is such a fresh and romantic scent that contains rose petals with sparkling green notes of galbanum and red berry with a base of
Indonesian patchouli, sweet musk and amber. (To be exact!)

Thank you to M&S for giving me an amazing goodie bag that every girl would love and allowing me to get a sneak peak at their SS13 collection. P.s.. keep your eye out for the range, it is actually amazing!
