I was thrilled to be invited to the launch of House of Frasers SS13 collection by the lovely Mark. I attended their AW12 press show back in August and it was a fabulous event so I knew that this one would be no different.
Despite the freezing cold weather and horrible snow (I usually love it but not when I’m in heels and a full face of make up.) I made it to their stunning Ivory restaurant in one piece.
Collections featured from the very fabulous Mary Portas, BIBA, Grainne Maher and Benefit cosmetics. The array of magnificent colours, fabrics and prints shone brightly throughout the restaurant.
Beautiful collection by Mary Portas
Floral prints, neon pops of colour and gorgeous fabrics were on selection for us to play with. Maxi gowns, cowl styled blouses and 1950’s prom dresses featured throughout a large majority of collections.
Pied A Terre SS13 Collections
Vibrant shades of colour will be a key trend this coming season with the trusty floral designs continuing to blossom from season to season.
Vibrant colours and stunning prints
One of my favourite local designers, Grainne Maher, was there with her stunning Pluck & Devour collection. From hats to necklaces, I had a ball browsing through it all.
This unbelievable butterfly hat is my favourite. It is out if this world, and the soft pink colour works beautifully with the butterflies.
I was very lucky to have been given an amazing necklace by Grainne. This pretty phoenix has now become part of my very own Pluck & Devour collection. (Thank you Grainne!)
This event was a girly heaven! Not only were we treated to an exclusive look at the coming SS clothes, accessories and jewellery, but we also got to have a sneak peek at some newly launched products by Benefit cosmetics.
Fine One One launched this week
They’re also going to be launching some new shadow palettes and concealer. The lovely Mark & Caoimhe gave us all each a pretty Benefit goodie bag filled with Fine One One and some Bad Gal mascara. I was one happy girl! 🙂
Thank you to Mark from HOF for inviting me and to Grainne and Mark for spoiling me rotten with gorgeous goodies.
