Now I’m not just saying this to kiss anyones back side, (that includes you Mark, ;)) but on Tuesday myself and my buddy, Sarah, attended an event hosted by the lovely ladies and Mark from Benefit Cosmetics at the very stylish Ivory restaurant in the House of Fraser, Victoria Square.
It was honestly an amazing event completed with champagne, nibbles, make up tutorials, and thee best goodie bag I have ever received. It was great to meet up with Mark, Caoimhe and of course, the FABB ladies. The atmosphere was hilarious, the range of make up on show was beautiful and I had an absolute ball.
This event was aimed at the launch of their new hydration concealer, FakeUp. One of my many problem areas is my under eye area. Not only do I have dark circles but they are quite dehydrated and I find this shows even more when I’m trying to cover it up with concealer. When Mark applied some of the FakeUp to my skin, I was truly amazed at how silky my skin felt and how well it concealed my dark circles.
Over the next few hours I noticed that my concealer hadn’t went into the creases, which I was over the moon about! Listening to Mark tell us about the product he said; ” It is proven to keep the skin hydrated for 6 hours. The hydrating ring has vitamin E & apple seed extract for immediate moisurisation. The concealing core hides dark circles, smooths skin and diffuses light”. Honestly, I’ve been waiting a long time for a product like this because I have tried more or less every concealer under the sun.
Benefit recently launched their World Famous Neutrals eyeshadow palette, and I was lucky enough to have it tested on me. I opted for the warmer shades as it works best with my skin tone. Each palette has a mixture of creaseless cream shades with stunning powder shadows. We all participated in a quiz hosted by the lovely Mark, and I won one of these stunning palettes. Yay! 🙂
Thank you to Mark & Caoimhe for hosting this great event and having us.
