Purity, Philosophy, Perfection

I know I’ve already blogged about my previous encounter with Philosophy skincare, but, this time I’ve fallen in love with their Purity 3 in 1 cleanser. Once again, thanks to the helpful advice from Dawn (www.inanityandthegirl.com) and Katrina from Sugahfix (www.sugahfix.com), I was soon on the path to amazing, clean skin as they recommended that I start working this cleanser into my very bad skin care routine.

I was using Johnson’s baby wipes to remove my make up and was completely unaware of how much it was damaging my skin. Now, to be honest, I thought that I was being cleaver using the Johnson brand as they are soft enough to use on babies bums, so why wouldn’t they work miracles on my face?!

Once I spoke publicly about my Johnson’s addiction, it was mama bear Doran who gave me a good talking to and told me to step away from the wipes and invest in a good cleanser, enter Dawn. If it wasn’t for these two beauty experts ;), then my skin would have continued to go down a very nasty path.

As you are all aware, on Friday 22nd March, a snow storm hit Belfast and also hit me when I foolishly decided to brave the snow and venture into town in search of the Philosophy counter. Despite what I thought was my trusty snow boots, I made it in one piece to Debenhams, and purchased the miracle cleanser. God must have been watching over me this day, and rewarded me for braving the snow as when I picked up the cleanser, the lovely girl at the till, informed me that they were giving away a mini Philosophy skin care pack with every purchase. Woohoooo!

So, let’s get down to the goodie bag. 😉

With this purchase I received samples of;

  • Hope in a jar,
  • Microdelivery exfoliating facial wash,
  • Eye hope,
  • Amazing grace fragrances (x2)

I was very excited with this as with the snow coming down hard and fast, I would spend my Friday night indulging in a much-needed (and deserved) pampering session.  I asked some of my FABB gals, what they thought, were the best way to apply and use a cleansing product. In the end, with a little help from my friends, I applied it to face and only wet the Muslin cloth. I was amazed with how much make up is actually on my skin. It really does cleanse deep into my skin and pores and removes all make up and any dirt. Compared to what a face wipe will remove, I don’t know why it took me so long to convert, but I’m very happy that I have.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
