I’m a little late to the party with this one but I have finally got my hands on the legendary Tarte wonder collection. Named the Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette, it is every inch as iconic as the beauty bloggers and professional across the globe have raved about. You can order it with no problems from various U.S. sites such as: Sephora and Tarte Cosmetics themselves, however I often find the shipping rate a little too expensive. It was until I came across it online at QVC that I very quickly placed an order and waited semi patiently for it to arrive. On Saturday my dreams came true when
The packaging alone is to absolutely die for. A bold purple tone mixed with gold italics is always a winner in my eyes. It’s sleek yet bold enough to make a fabulous statement. It’s kind of strange though given the fact that it’s a matte and neutral palette. I would expect something like this from a vibrant shimmering collection. For me though it’s a nice change to swap my usual dramatic, sparkling and heavily pigmented shades for soft natural tones of vanilla, mauve, and deep purples.
I haven’t had the chance to play around with the shades on my eyes, it’s just too pretty to use just yet. I’m sure I’m not the only weirdo who likes to just sit and look at new products, clothing or accessories before wearing or using them!?!? If you all follow my Instagram, then you’ll see the palette in action when I finally get round to breaking the ‘too nice to use’ rut. For today I just wanted to share the prettiness with all of you today.
Another added bonus of shopping with QVC was the free brush that I received. I always love adding brushes to my collection, you can never have too many in my opinion. It’s a double ended beauty which will be perfect for blending and patting on the shadow. I’ve never used Tarte cosmetics before so I’m intrigued to test out the quality of their brushes.
Are there any other brands or palettes you would recommend trying? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
