Just before Christmas I made an extremely happy decision to indulge in some online shopping from none other than American superstore, Sephora. I wanted to purchase some much sought after products that I’ve wanted for such a long time. Plus, the Christmas collections were available and I wanted to pick up the iconic Tarte holiday palette.
Back in the summer I had a family member pick up the much raved about Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Palette. I have used it religiously and the time had come to update my collection and buy the contour wonder product. To go with it, I got the Tarte Swirl Power contour & bronze brush that I have been obsessed with. It works beautifully for both contouring and bronzing and it is incredibly soft. I prefer a brush of this shape as I feel it works best for me.
You Tube goddess, Kathleen Lights has become a personal favourite of mine to watch. Her tutorials are mainly affordable drugstore based and her personality is adorable. For so long, she has been loving the Narvana Hydrating Treatment Mist by Josie Maran. I’ve really been into hydrating products as they’ve worked wonders for my skin. Before I apply my makeup, I will mist my face with it to keep my skin glowing.
As you can see the haul was mainly Tarte based. I just love their products as the quality and price is on point. Their blushers are widely known within the beauty community, one in particular called, Exposure. It’s a naturally beautiful mauve shade that is perfer for both day and nighttime looks. It’s from their Amazonian Clay 12 Hour blush collection.
Now. Time to talk about this incredible show piece. I was in complete awe when I opened up my package. The sequin design of the Light of the Party collection alone is unbelievable. Very festive appropriate (even though we’ve already celebrated Christmas) but it will be the perfect palette for my nights out. It comes with 24 stunning eyeshadows, a mini Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and a mini double ended eyeshadow brush.
Along with the eyeshadows and mini products, it also includes an extra palette with a bronzer shade, a pretty blush, shimmering highlight and six piece eyeshadow collection. It would make the perfect travel accessory as everything I need is in one place.
A new haul from Sephora is definitely on the cards. I need something new to cheer me up as January is such a dull and long month (I known I’m not the only one). I’m hoping you are all enjoying my new blog theme, I’m sooo happy with how chic it looks.
