Two week’s ago, I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying an evening with the lovely ladies from Next. Alice and Betty very kindly asked me to attend the high street show of Belfast Fashion Week as a guest of the brand (judging by our selfie you can tell we had some fun). Before the fashion show started, we indulged in a majestic dinner and some sweet cocktails at the iconic and incredibly chic, Zen.
I absolutely adore the interior within Zen, the infamous crystal walkway is my favourite. The ultimate Instagram shot in my opinion! Along with Alice and Betty, I was joined by a group of fashion favourites from various magazine publications. We last met for dinner at Shu (you can read that post here) and we had a great night catching up, drinking a delicious amount of alcohol and talking all things fashion, mice catching (don’t ask) and life. The funniest part of the evening was watching someone (I’m not naming names haha) whip off their Louboutins and bare foot it around the city centre. Keepin’ it real!
Myself and Betty couldn’t resist a obligatory bathroom selfie. We admired her fabulous fluffy block heels (very Carrie Bradshaw) which I’ll be featuring on the blog soon! Of course the opportunity for an OOTD shot was taken in my favourite walkway. I was head to toe in Next, the navy stripe bomber jacket is an absolute must have for Spring! I’ll give you a full shop the look list at the end of this post.
Now, onto the show! The runway came to life when the hot pink dress made its appearance on the catwalk. A bold statement for SS16 if you have any special occasions coming up or want to paint the town pink for some cocktails and dancing. I was also in love with this tan look, the complete block colour style was refreshing to see. Since my hair has been ombré I’ve been madly in love with these warm shades throughout the year. For those of you who enjoy a more relaxed look during the brighter months, soft grey tones and delicate prints are a great option for a BBQ or road trip. If you have started the process of shopping for your summer holiday wardrobe then be sure to stop be Next.
Thank you to Alice and Betty for a brilliant evening and spoiling us rotten. Be sure to keep an eye on my blog for some more outfit looks from Next. Hope you had a great weekend.
