Ulster Weavers Home Edition

As much as I adore featuring style and beauty products/looks on my blog, I have a soft spot for interior. Growing up and in between wanting to be a surgeon and in the Secret Service (it’s a long story) I wanted to be an Interior Designer. When Ulster Weavers contacted me and asked if I would take a look at their mid season collection for Summer, I was in awe of the quirky pieces. They have added three fresh ranges to their Summer collection along with a variety of unique accessories for interior enthusiasts that will incorporate an exotic twist into your home. The range showcases a bold colour palette throughout the new collection that beautifully takes inspiration from Moroccan Tiles and adorable animal door stoppers.

“Bold blues, acidic oranges, mustard coloured prints and an exciting twist on Moroccan mosaics are just some of what we have lined up. The vibrant and intricate Moroccan Tiles range is sure to transport you to the hustle and bustle of a Marrakesh market.” – Ulster Weavers.

I have to say one of my favourite pieces from the range had to be the adorable animal inspired cushions. I don’t own my own home yet but that doesn’t mean that I can’t start building up a collection of pieces to keep for the future. I was very kindly gifted with this vibrant owl printed cushion that has reversible colour options. I was instantly drawn to the quirky print and french slogan, very Instagramable if you ask me! Haha.

The incredible contrast between the bold orange and deep navy shades make for an eye catching set up. Depending on the backdrop of your home, you can switch it up by opting for the reverse side. For those of you who prefer a more subtle colour palette then you can simply turn the cushion over to the white and lilac colour scheme and you’re pretty much good to go. I always have white bedspreads as they instantly leave any room feeling so clean and fresh. They’re like a blank canvas which gives me room to play around and jazz things up with pretty cushions of different sizes and prints. The overall animal and farm inspired designs are such a cosy and quirky style for your home. I can imagine a farm yard kitchen with the mini cow door stopper, vibrant kitchen utensils and the sheep/hen cushions around the sitting area – I would be in my element!

Products from the Ulster Weavers mid season range will be available from 1st August 2016 from their site. Hope you enjoyed today’s change of pace, I’m thinking about sharing more interior features in the near future. Have a great day!
