We’re only mid way through the week and I’m already counting down the hours until Easter arrives and some much needed time off. I have family visiting and I’m beyond excited to spend some quality time with everyone. No doubt I’ll include some grown up juice in the mix for good measure. Haha!
Two week’s ago, I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying an evening with the lovely ladies from Next. Alice and Betty very kindly asked me to attend the high street show of Belfast Fashion Week as a guest of the brand (judging by our selfie you can tell we had some fun). Before the fashion show started, we indulged in a majestic dinner and some sweet cocktails at the iconic and incredibly chic, Zen.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – staple essentials and neutral tones are a must have to creating the perfect wardrobe. My favourite camel coat has been a regular on the blog, it has been a savour this season. For a day exploring Berlin Zoo I opted for my grey tee, biker jeans, statement necklace and faux fur stole. Such a comfortable look that is still smartly put together for some evening drinks.
My yearly recap of all things fashion, beauty, achievements and lifestyle is upon us yet again. Hard to believe how fast 2015 has went by. I’ve had many ups and downs but looking back it has been a pretty good year for the blog. Without rambling on too much lets just jump right into my favourite moments and celebrate the beginning of 2016. Grab a cuppa or a glass of wine if you’re feeling bubbly and settle down as it’s a lengthy but enjoyable post. Read More
I’m starting off the week voiceless. Over the past few day’s I haven’t been well and now my voice is gone. I’m sure my family and the man friend are loving it but it’s annoying when people keep making fun of me by saying, “Whattttttt?!”
Anyway now that I’ve updated you, lets get back to the blog. Today’s style post features high street favourite, Next. I’ve been working with them and you may remember when I featured their fab camel coat and monk shoes? (You can read it here) Well I’ve teamed up with them again and this time I’m styling their 1970’s inspired flared jeans. They’re a great fit and length – a nice change from the skinny style. It’s often difficult for me to find a pair of flared jeans that fit me in the leg, they are always too short. So you can imagine my excitement when I tried these beauties on. I love the washed out look from them, they’re very easily styled and I enjoy working that seventies vibe.
How was everyone’s weekend? A little sunshine wouldn’t go a miss! I know it’s Winter but it doesn’t need to pour every single day. See you all on Wednesday!
