The Holiday Edit

Now that I’m gently easing myself back into the blogging business, I wanted to share a collection of my favourite looks for Summer. I’ve hand picked my top choices from various high street brands that I feel will make you feel hotter this season. I don’t know what it is but when Summer starts I immediately go on a major wardrobe revamping especially now that I’m off on my travels in July.

I just get so excited when it comes to Summer shopping and I can often feel very overwhelmed particularly when it comes to shopping online. I’m like a big kid in a sweet shop and my eyes become bigger than my belly making it a little stressful at times. If you’re anything like me then I thought that it might be helpful for me to put together my top picks to give all you of somewhat of an idea.

Instagram Roundup

Let’s just say – the month of May was not kind to me! I was so ill for all of it and I also had to get an operation (I was supposed to get two but that’s a story for another day!). I’m thankfully recovering well after a bad turn but now I’m finally back on track and focusing on every Summer! *end of rant* So apart from everything mentioned above I’ve just been taking it easy and building myself back up.

Instagram Update

In my previous features I would have put together a ‘My Week On Instagram’ post but seeing as I’ve been away for while, here’s an Instagram Update. I couldn’t possibly round up nine months worth of images so I’ve put together a few collages of my favourite shots. Even though I took a break from blogging I still managed to keep up with my favourite social media account. I never really lost my spark for it as truth be told it was enjoyable to focus on. With its image based themes and little content required, I loved uploading to it.

Best of USA Bucket List: West Coast

Every time I think of the West Coast of America I can’t help but hear The Beachboys playing in my head. Definitely the more fairytale side of the states with Hollywood, Vegas and San Franisco.. I will have a somewhat different experience compared to the East Coast. This leg of my trip will more than likely involve some Pretty Woman moments when I’m on Rodeo Drive, living it up on the Vegas strip and ticking off a major bucket list goal by taking a tour around Alcatraz – heaven!!! It’s also not as structured attraction wise compared to the East Coast cities, there’s a lot more freedom to explore the beautiful nature locations. On this part of the trip we’ll mainly be hiking, taking dips in the crystal waters of the Colorado River and exploring the Grand Canyon by helicopter.

Best of USA Bucket List: East Coast

Now that I’m easing myself back into this whole blogging business I wanted to create new content. Travel is going to be a huge part of my life this year and hopefully many more to come. I’ve been to the states before but only NYC and Boston. Both are incredible cities in very different ways and this Summer I’m spending a few week’s exploring the rest of America. By rest I don’t mean every single state but a fair amount in my opinion! It is an adventure of a lifetime (you can read up on my initial excitement here) and I’ve been busy researching various hotspots/bucket list places to visit.
