#LFW || Best Bloggers To Follow On Instagram

With London Fashion Week SS16 just around the corner, I wanted to share and update my collection of blogger’s to follow during the week long festivities. I shared the same post last year (you can read it here) but this season I’ve updated my bloggers to follow. I still have some old favourites included but I have discovered some new bloggers over the past few months.

Taking place from 18th-24th September 2015, it is the most prestigious week long fashion extravaganza to hit the UK. I am hoping to go to February’s shows as it is for their AW16 showcase and also my birthday week. I’m much more of an Autumn/Winter baby so I would definitely prefer to go during this time.

Over the week I am constantly glued (more so than usual) to my Instagram feed. For today’s post I wanted to share my five favourite bloggers and vloggers to follow during LFW. Like I’ve already said, I included some golden oldies and new stylish ladies to keep an eye on during the week.

Hannah Crosskey from A Fashion Fix: A classic girl who’s OOTD posts are within the elite streets of London town. The iconic town houses and chic gardens are a constant feature within her posts. A regular at LFW, Hannah is definitely one to follow for up to date information and beautiful style shots.

Louise O’ Reilly from Style Me Curvy: It’s only natural that I include a fellow Irish blogger in the mix. Louise is one of the friendliest and down to earth girls I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She has won various awards for her blog and is an inspirational ambassador for gorgeous girls with beautiful curves. Her Instagram shots are so pretty and definitely worth mentioning for LFW.

Philippa Bloom & Sarah Tankel Ellis from We Are Twinset: A new addition to my LFW follow, these two girls have been creating a storm within the blogging community. I had the pleasure of meeting Philippa last year and she is equally beautiful in real life. They have such fabulous style and are greatly known within the London fashion scene as they have been stylists for a few years now. I can’t wait to see what they will be sharing during the week, no doubt they’ll get some backstage shots.

Victoria from In The Frow: An oldie but goodie, Victoria is a girl with white hair, tattoos and amazing style. She can rock pretty much any look and her shots from LFW are just so beautiful. She also has a You Tube channel so you can see the week long festivities through her eyes along with some behind the scenes action and make up tutorials.

Sandra Hagelstam from 5 Inch And Up: The absolute pro and in a league of her own when it comes to style and blogging, Sandra is a must follow in general. Her shots are incredibly raw and her looks are bold and brave. A lover of all things designer, she is my high end blogger that I love to follow as I live and breathe these designers vicariously through her.

I hope I have you all equipped for LFW, I just can’t wait to see all of the glorious shows unfold through the eyes of these amazing bloggers.

#LFW || Best Bloggers To Follow On Instagram

Today marks the return of the UK’s biggest fashion extravaganza, London Fashion Week. I have yet to be lucky enough to enter the doors of Sommerset House to watch a show, but with today’s technology, i.e: Instagram and some lovely bloggers, it’s like I’m there in spirit. There are so many talented designers showcasing their piece’s such as: Orla Kiely, Paul Costelloe, Sass & Bide and Magherafelt born extraordinaire, J.W. Anderson. I have a collection of bloggers that I follow and through them, I am kept up to date with all things LFW.

Hannah Crosskey:

The first blogger I’m going to share with all of you is the fabulous, Hannah Crosskey from A Fashion Fix. I have been a huge fan of Hannah and her blog for a few months now. You may remember that I featured her as one of my inspirational bloggers. For all of LFW’s daily gossip, be sure to check out Hannah’s Instagram.

Sarah Ashcroft:

Since starting up her blog That Pommie Girlfriend, Sarah’s social status and career has gone from strength to strength. She is every inch glamorous and you can often find her posing like no other on her Instagram. Stay tuned to her blog and you’re sure to walk away feeling like a LFW pro!

Leanne Lim-Walker:

I fell in love with fashion photographer and blogger, Leanne because of her quirky and cool look. From her purple dip dyed hair to her bold make up, she combines these details with her style and creates a winning combination. I will be keeping up to date with her Instagram account to see what shows she will be attending and looks she will pulling.

Sandra Hagelstam:

From the day and hour I started blogging I have been obsessed with the incredible Sandra Hagelstam and her blog, 5 Inch And Up. She even designed her own shoe line for River Island, I managed to treat myself to a pair of her fabulous snake prints ankle boots.
I am always checking out her Instagram on a daily basis. Her images are always amazing, her style is magnificent and I just can’t help but admire her. Sandra is currently in NYC but no doubt she’ll make it back to London in time for some shows.

LFW Daily:

Finally, it’s pretty obvious but don’t forget to follow the actual LFW account. I also enjoy following LFW Dairy as they always share the latest up to date info and images including some great behind the scenes shots on their Instagram.

Happy weekend!

5 Inches. . .

Shoes. My guilty pleasure. I have an insanely large collection and I’m proud to add another incredible pair to the family. I had been eyeing up these beauties for while and thankfully they were reduced in the Boxing Day sales. Finnish fashion blogger, Sandra Hagelstam collaborated with River Island in 2014 to outstanding success. I have featured the breathtaking Sandra and her blog, 5 Inch And Up before as part of my ‘Inspirational Blogger’ series. I found it tricky trying to pick just one pair as her collection is devine. Each style is so chic and sophisticated and I’m madly in love.

image

I chose the grey snakeskin ankle boots with a sock – look print panel. I wanted to purchase a pair that are unique and a style that I do not already have. I waited each day for them to arrive, to say I was excited was an understatement!

image

The chic snakeskin print makes them pop beautifully and I’m excited to give them their first outing. Having followed Sandra and her blog for a few years, I love how she has stayed true to her own personal style and it shows through her collection.

image

I’m not usually one for wearing stiletto heels, my feet are not the easiest when it comes to breaking shoes in. However, I wanted to try a new look and I thought that these beauties would be perfect. When I first tried them on, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were. Now don’t get me wrong, I will have to wear them around the house for a few days first. I think I’ll wear them as a dinner and cocktail shoe. As much as I would love to, there is no way I could dance the night away in them.

image

I haven’t had the chance to snap a shot of me wearing them, but I promise I’ll get that sorted in the coming weeks.

Happy Friday, rascals. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

My Week on Instagram ‚̧

Back to reality with a bang, eh? The work week has well and truely started after the holiday period. As much as I don’t like to admit it, I like being back in my routine. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way?! ūüėČ

It is quite a girly timeline from my Instagram feed this week. Plenty of make up, food and fashion. I treated myself just a tad over the festive period, everyone loves a little Chanel. I still have a list of things to get though, next on my list is the breathtaking Hourglass palettes. Just next to book a sneaky trip to Sephora!

My Week on Instagram ‚ô•

I have been all about sleeping this week, I often find getting back into a routine after a trip to the States a challenge. I find it hard to ‘fight the sleep’ until a suitable hour. Do any of you have any tips or tricks for jet lag? If so, feel free to leave them in the comment box below.

How has all of you been keeping? It’s sooo strange just how fast this year has been, hard to believe it’s Christmas next month. I seen the Coca Cola advert last night so the countdown has officially started for me. My Instagram has pretty much consisted of things I bought while away, things I wish I had, and the obligatory ‘Instagram quote’, you all know the drill. Anywho, back to business, hope you all enjoy today’s post.
