I’m writing this post on my journey home from Killarney to Dublin and I think the train is experiencing turbulence. It never shakes this bad any other time, can a train even get turbulence?! .. This will sound very materialistic and superficial BUT I can’t help but hope my makeup will be OK and that my Barry’s Tea doesn’t spill (forget about my own safety). I get like that when I also fly, the fear of losing my makeup absolutely terrifies me.

Vibrant Prints & Kate Spade

FINALLY… I’m back with a style feature for all of you lovelies. Between the gloomy weather and finding someone who is good at shooting looks, it can be a challenge to post. If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ll know that last week I was down in County Kerry. I spent a few days in the glorious sunshine by the famous, Killarney Lakes. It was an incredibly relaxing break and I made the most of the sunshine. Although that’s probably our summer over now as the Irish weather is never kind.

My Week On Instagram

I’m beyond happy it’s Friday. The weather has been incredible over the past few days and I’m hoping it’ll continue over the weekend. I could definitely see myself chilling at a beer garden with an ice cold drink. The main focus on my Instagram this week has been my visit to Kildare Village and my continuous obsession with makeup marvel, the glorious highlighter. Last weekend mainly consisted of drinking alcohol and celebrating with family. I enjoyed an amazing dinner and drinks with them, there’s no better way to spend your weekend. I wanted to share a beautifu photo of my phenomenal niece, Sáerlaith. Not only is she my niece and goddaughter but she is by far an inspirational young lady. I can’t believe how fast she is growing up – makes me feel old!

It has been quite a busy week for me on Instagram between new beauty shots, jewellery reviews and the odd selfie, I have found myself posting a lot more. I’m terrible for going through phases of not having much activity to spending every second posting. I find for me, it depends on what is going on in my life. There are times when I need to take a break to focus on the real world.
