Vibrant Prints & Kate Spade

FINALLY… I’m back with a style feature for all of you lovelies. Between the gloomy weather and finding someone who is good at shooting looks, it can be a challenge to post. If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ll know that last week I was down in County Kerry. I spent a few days in the glorious sunshine by the famous, Killarney Lakes. It was an incredibly relaxing break and I made the most of the sunshine. Although that’s probably our summer over now as the Irish weather is never kind.

Inspirational Blogger || Anouska Proetta Brandon

Anouska Proetta Brandon is an Irish fashion blogger who has made a massive name for herself within the industry. Today there are a lot of bloggers from the green isle who are creating and building a career for themselves following in Anouska’s footsteps. She is one of few who have went beyond the profile of just being a blogger and working with huge names such as: H&M, River Island and Parfois.

Starting up her blog in 2011, she wanted to create an outlet to share her personal style. Today it has transformed into a fashion, lifestyle, travel and photography blog. Basically anything Anouska finds inspirational can be found on her blog and incorporated into her own style in a unique and timeless manner. Her style is definitely described as classic meets chic with basic staples paired alongside bold accessories and sharp structures.

In my opinion, Anouska is the kind of girl who can wear pretty much any look. She has the body shape and confidence to rock a cute demin skater dress (a style that can be hard to pull off) or a full on structured suit. She is 1/2 Irish, 1/4 Spanish and 1/4 Austrian. Her first name is Russian and her second name (Proetta) is Italian, and of course Brandon is Irish. No wonder the girl can wears so many looks with all of these amazing cultures in her blood. Can we also just take a moment to appreciate the simplicity of black lace and a silk scarf?! Absolute perfection!

Did I forget to mention that Anouska has a thing for printed floors?! Yes, you heard, floors. As us bloggers are keen to take inspiration from pretty much all areas of life and decorate our Instagram and blogs with beautiful and unique shots, you can often find the ‘from where I stand’ hastag a strong favourite in our feeds. The perfect shoes are essentials as is the textile on the floors, with some sneaky editing and perhaps a filter, you’re pretty much good to go.

I was in complete awe over Anouska and her style during a recent trip to Prague. Her pictures were beyond breathtaking with perfect shots of iconic landmarks, the obligatory ice cream angle and of course her fabulous style. I fell head over heels in love with this magnificent wide leg jumpsuit. It looks effortless on Anouska as she has kept the rest of her accessories etc to a minimum.

With Autumn just a stone throw away, I cannot wait to see what gorgeous layered looks Anouska will be wearing. I would seriously recommend checking out her blog if you eat, sleep and breathe fashion. If there are any bloggers you would like to see featured, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! ūüôā

Oversize It

You may remember that last week I attended a pretty perfect event in the Fitzwilliam Hotel held by the lovely ladies from Clarins. For the occasion, I wanted to remain comfortable but mix up my look a little. Therefore, it was an oversized H&M dress, Topshop ripped jeans and standard ankle boots from Miss Selfridge for me. It was a last minute and relaxed look for me. Often when I attend events I will have my look thought out the morning or even night before if I’m being good. I paired all of this with my edgy rose gold spike necklace (my favourite) from Topshop and my absolute go to novelty handbag from Accessorize which is now on sale for ¬£7.50! A brilliant bargain for such a trend setting piece of accessory. I just love metallics, particularly the copper style.

For my make up I created a natural and soft smokey eye using my NARS palette, And God Created The Woman. As it was a beauty evening I thought that it was only natural to pay a little more attention to my face. You can’t really see it in the photo and I forgot to take that awkward up close selfie so I just thought that I’d describe it for you. ūüėČ

I always find blogging that little more enjoyable when I’m playing Grey’s Anatomy in the background. Although I’m often distracted when Mc Dreamy makes an appearance! See you all in my next post.
