Summer consists mainly of two things for me – cocktails and more cocktails. I’ve been on some what of a kick and the glorious sunshine we’ve been enjoying doesn’t help! The mind blowing and decadent ‘Lagaritas’ at hotspot, The Perch, left an almighty feeling with me the next day! That’s what Summer is all about isn’t it?! Between socialising and sunbathing this past few week’s have been quite enjoyable! I head off to Spain in three week’s for a well deserved break and I’m in dire need of new swimwear and it’s safe to say I have left it a little late. If any of you can recommend any pretty one pieces or bikinis please let me know, I’m desperate.
I can still remember the first encounter I had with luxury jewellery brand, Pandora. We were just coming into the Summer month’s when I was invited to brunch for a private viewing of their Rose Gold collection. Fast forward two years and I’m still head over heals in love with the pieces now as I was then. My Pandora collection is growing by the day and I’m excited to welcome this majestic ‘Hearts of Pandora’ necklace to the family. I have a love for hollow circle jewellery and this little beauty is one of a kind. It features a detailed print of the Pandora logo on the back which can be worn as a second option. I often wear it as a stand alone piece or mix it with various necklaces that I have. For today I decided to keep all jewellery dedicated to Pandora in order to share the entire collection with all of you.
It has been quite a busy week for me on Instagram between new beauty shots, jewellery reviews and the odd selfie, I have found myself posting a lot more. I’m terrible for going through phases of not having much activity to spending every second posting. I find for me, it depends on what is going on in my life. There are times when I need to take a break to focus on the real world.
It was back in June 2014 that I first fell in love with PANDORA (you can read my post here) and since then I’ve had an endless love affair with the iconic jewellery brand. On March 17th they launched their new Spring 2016 collection that welcomes the brighter months with pastel blooms, stone-studded sentiments, lacy flowers and lustrous stone droplets.
Christmas in October?! I know what you’re thinking but within the world of fashion, you always need to stay that little bit ahead to keep your clientele captivated. Pandora undoubtedly have a huge following and come Christmas, they are the ultimate destination for timeless and treasured gifts. Celebrating the launch of their new flagship store on Grafton Street, Dublin and the preview of their festive jewels, it was a very merry evening.
The delicious treats were a fab starting point before making our way around the exclusive launch. I’m a real sucker for sweets ‘n’ treats at events, they add such a personalised touch and fuel us for of sugar before the grand unveiling. The iced cookies were as delicious as they look, they worked beautifully with refreshing cocktails and wine we were sampling.
The delightful Vogue Williams was our DJ for the evening helping to set the mood with trendy tunes. Pandora really did go all out for this event with Dublin’s finest fashionista’s, socialites and media personalities and little old me! Haha.
Now.. down to business. The theme for the evening was a vibrant blue undertone against the crisp white interior making it a firm favourite for us social media addicts. A white wooden Christmas Tree was the centre piece as magnificent and delicate Pandora jewellery draped beautifully from the branches. I don’t know about any of you but that’s definitely my kind of tree, the room was perfectly sparkling giving all of us that warm festive feeling. I’ve been really into rings this season, I tend to go through phases with my jewellery. Last year I was all about delicate necklaces and now it’s rings. This beautiful trio of silver diamante’s is such a pretty combination, the layering trend is massive and this little set is the perfect gift.
As I’ve previously said, our evening was centered around the gorgeous Christmas charms. I have a weakness for novelty jewellery, Halloween and the festive season is a popular time for my collection! The detailed charms are just so pretty, the red present was my personal favourite. I love how Pandora mix colourful piece’s with silver charms, it helps to keep things fresh and unique. I’m wanting to build my jewellery collection and I have my eye on the gorgeous circle Pandora ring. I don’t really have any silver piece’s so I think this one will look good mixed with my gold and rose gold rings.
Before leaving, I was very kindly gifted with a voucher and purchased this rose gold feather ring. I’ve had my eye on this little beauty for a while now after first seeing it at the launch of their rose gold collection back in the summer (you can read the post here). I have the necklace and wanted the ring to match. It’s such a flattering piece and I absolutely love it. Rose gold is definitely my favourite jewellery material, it’s such a beautiful warm tone and always looks so flattering.
Thank you so much to Aimee and Pandora for having me down. It was such a magical evening and the beautiful jewellery was worth the journey. I can’t wait to start building my collection, first stop… the rings!
