Positive Vibes Only

The time has come for another awkward posing, painful viewing, OOTD post. Over the past year, I have cut down posting some outfit looks as I don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera anymore. Does any other bloggers feel like this or am I a stand alone weirdo?! I’m finally back at my work out classes so hopefully I’ll be back on track soon. Positive vibes and all that, right?

Anywho, I’ll continue this rant another day. Back to the outfit! One of my favourite styles to wear is the classic and timeless monochrome look. I always feel most comfortable in it and it’s always a great excuse to bust out the over the top hoop earrings and red lipsticks.

I’m pretty much covered in good old faithful, Topshop with my statement tee and ripped jeans. I love a good novelty top particularly when you’re wearing it to prove a point ( the ‘I prefer being single’ tee’s) and today I’m channeling my ‘Positive Vibes’ mood.
I purchased my now favourite leather jeacket from Pull & Bear and I absolutely adore it. I’m constantly wearing it with everything and it’s a super soft style. I hate it when there is no extra movement and you feel stiff. Not a good look. ūüėČ

The chunky platforms are from Primark and they are thee most comfortable shoes to wear! I could dance the night away in these beauties and feel absolutely no pain. No black and white look would be complete without my matching monochrome hangbag. This essential accessory is from Magic & Sparkles and my version of a Mary Poppins magic hold all bag. I travel with this beauty, I shop with it and I even break it out for a night on the town if I’m feeling lazy. The pops of coral help make it all the more appealing for the spring/summer season.

Hope you’re all having a fab Monday! I spent the weekend working out and it’s safe to say that my body is in pain. Good pain though!

Tribal Trend at Marks & Spencer

Just wanted to share with all of you the funky tribal dress that I recently purchased from Limited Edition by Marks & Spencer. I wore it on holiday in Spain, but, unfortunately I’ve no photos of me wearing it. In the mean time I’m going to upload a¬†PR image of it and then I’ll upload a picture of me wearing it next week.

It cost me ¬£45 and I absolutely love it. It’s youthful, fresh and the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I was amazed at how comfortable it was to wear, and I loved how little effort it took to style it. With black sheer neckline, I only wore stud earrings with it as it is such a statement dress, I wanted the dress to stand out and make an impact. I also wore a watch with it and black gladiator sandals. There is also a little black netting under the dress to make it sit out a little. ūüôā

Hope you’re all having a great weekend. I’m down in County Kerry for the weekend at an amazing festival so no blogging for me. Have fun!

Tribal Treasure

With that horrible rain during the night I woke up missing the sunshine. However, my luck changed when a pretty little package arrived from the lovely Maeve.

Inside the package was a stunning gold multi tribal statement necklace. It’s the latest accessory from Marks & Spencer and it couldn’t have arrived at a better time. I’m off on my holidays on Friday and it will be the perfect time to showcase the necklace.

I absolutely love the style and colours, it’s exactly what I look for in accessories. The tribal trend is huge at the minute and I’ve always been a huge fan.

The gorgeous brown leather strap running throughout the necklace pays tribute to the tribal trend. It adds an edgy vibe to it, it’s all about the edge!

The variety of beads and diamant√©s add a touch of sparkle and glamour to it. The colours pop perfectly against the necklace. I’m so excited to wear it in Spain. Here’s a sneak preview of it on me! ūüôā

Hope you all like it as much as I do! ūüôā

Thanks, Maeve ‚ô•
