My Version of A Chanel

Hi my lovelies! How have you all been keeping? For today, I thought I would start things off with a much belated style feature. I’m sharing my absolute favourite handbag with all of you from, Zara. I think they’ve sold out of the handbag but I’ve found a similar style for you here. It’s the closet thing I’ll get to owning a Chanel Boy and I treasure it with all of my heart! Haha.

I bought this bag a few months back and I have used it on every single night out/event/occasion. Even though it is small, it somehow manages to hold all of my essentials in it, I feel like Mary Poppins with it. The solid block colour makes it incredibly easy to style and pair with pretty much any outfit.

I absolutely adore the gun metal chain with the thick black shoulder strap. The detailing on the bag is a beautiful woven style that is perfect for creating a subtle statement. I typically wear it full length but you can double up the strap for a more hold able look.

For this post, I have paired it with my embellished Warehouse tee, leather biker jacket and my gold heeled sandals. It’s a pretty laid back look that works beautifully with the bag. I love the combination of the embellished tee with my bag. I wore a bold lip (MAC’s Lady Danger) and soft smoky eye (Created using my Tarte matte palette) with a casual top knot.

I hope you’re all well and enjoying your summer holidays. See you all in my next post.

OOTD -River Island

Another OOTD blog post for today. I treated myself to this fabulous snake print waterfall jacket from River Island and I want to share it with all of you. I wore it to dinner on Friday night and it was such a comfortable and effortless piece to style and wear.

I decided to pair it with my velvet print leggings from Topshop, (I’ve become obsessed with them), along with my strap sandals and chiffon blouse.

Hope you all had an amazing weekend.

Belated OOTD

I know this is a late post, but, better late than never, right? Last week I went out for a few cocktails and needless to say, the weather was horrible.

Lots of wind and rain created a slight panic for me when it came to deciding what to wear. I know I wanted to stay warm and dry, but, obviously I wanted to make a little effort.

I opted for my new favourite cut out boots from New Look (which only cost me £12!) paired with my velvet leggings from Topshop and my animal print blouse from Warehouse.

I topped it off with my fabulous faux fur gillet also from Topshop and wine coloured tote. It was such a comfortable look to wear in that disgusting weather!  🙂

Have a great weekend. Happy Friday. ♥

Best of 2013: Blog Achievement: CastleCourt Blogger of the Month

Last week I was very excited to find out that CastleCourt, Belfast, had chosen me as their blogger of the month for November.

With this I had to browse the many stores in the shopping centre to pick my favourite clothes and accessories for the coming party season. I was also given some gift vouchers to spend in store.

Here is a few sneek peak images from my adventure. You can view my full experience in a few days over on CastlCourts website.

Best of 2013: Fashion: M&S Floral Statement Blouse

I was pleasantly surprised at the pieces that I purchased from Marks and Spencer at the weekend. First it was the shoes, then I spotted this breath taking multi coloured floral blouse.

image

As soon as I tried it on, I instantly fell in love. When it comes to my personal style, I prefer to opt for looks that consist of bright and vibrant colours and patterns. I paired it with my leather skirt from Warehouse and black strap sandals from New Look.

The variety of colours help brighten up my look. A bold pink or even a dark plum lip would work perfectly with this blouse. I’ll keep the rest of my look to a minimum as I don’t want to look too over the top.

image

With blouses I love going for a more structured style by wearing them buttoned up with a statement necklace. Although it’s also great to leave some buttons opened for a more relaxed look.

I’d love to know what you guys think of my latest Marks and Spencer pieces. ♥
