It’s been a little while now since I’ve been home and I can honestly say it has taken me this long to get myself back on track. As previously mentioned I had a tough time settling back in but now I’m finally moving forward. I was quite reluctant to share my East and West Coast photo diaries as I was wanting to focus on other things however I know there are some of you who wanted me to share my images (you can find my daily travel adventures at the time over on my Instagram). I had imagined taking a huge variety of photographs all while appreciating these beautiful places in real life but due to weather in certain places (hello New York ) and the fact that I want to keep some of those memories private – I am just going to share a few from each location with you.
Happy Friday! It has been a while since I last featured an Instagram post so I’ve featured some shots from a few week’s ago. It has been a busy week with events and I’m looking forward to relaxing this weekend. On Wednesday evening I attended an intimate skincare gathering in the beautiful Mal Maison Hotel. I will be featuring the brand here on my blog in a few week’s so stay tuned. I’m so excited to try out their products!
Last week, Manhattanhenge took NYC by storm. It’s that magical time of year when the sun set
is aligned with the east–west streets of the main grid. This year I’ve been lucky enough to travel to NYC twice and I snapped some amazing shots just like my first photo. I took it when I was in Bryant Park and the sun was slowly setting, it was my Manhattanhenge moment.
Other than my New York snap, my week on Instagram has been filled with the usual style, beauty and lifestyle goodness. It’s all kinds of girly and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve also managed to get back into the swing of taking some outfit shots to share with all of you lovelies (more OOTD posts are coming soon).
I don’t know about all of you but I’m still waiting (and hoping) for a nice little heatwave. The Irish “summer” is not working out for me, I need some Vitamin D.
Every time I sort through my weekly Instagram images, I notice that they consist mainly of my placing things o a rug and snapping away. Call it predictable at this stage but it’s my favourite way to shoot anything fashion or beauty. I’ve also been dreaming of New York recently as NYFW is in session. Of course I had to upload a magnificent picture of the city’s skyline that I snapped at sunset on top of the Empire State Building.
I’ve been meaning to shoot a style outfit post but just call me lazy. I’m going to make it my mission to finally get round to doing it this week.
So my amazing adventure has come to end. I got to spend precious time with my man friend in his new place in Boston and I spent some fabulous days in NYC. I’m currently sitting bored in London Heathrow dreaming of being back in the states, the luxurious side of travelling! 😉
I’m hoping to go back out to the States in October though so let the countdown commence! For now, I’m going to share some snaps from my trip to the Big Apple with all of you lovelies! ♥
Apologies for the brief blog posts, I’m so exhausted from travelling. I’ll be back to blogging as normal on Monday! 🙂
