Inspirational Blogger || Vivianna Does Make Up

Ever look at a girl and think that she would be the funnest person to be friends with? This is exactly how I feel when I watch Vivianna Does Make Up. She seems like such a cool girl and looks completely effortless. Anna is a UK blogger based in London and has established herself as a beauty blogger. Her euthusiam for life is quite sweet and she always remains true to herself no matter how well her blog is doing.

image

image

What I love most about Anna is how she is not afraid to go in front of the camera without any make up on. Now I will admit that I’m not sure if I could do that. I have such horrible dark circles around my eyes and I’m always conscious of them. However, Anna has incredible skin, perhaps this makes it a little easier for her to go bare for her blog and YouTube Channel. Her looks are often quite simple and natural looking. Now and then Anna will incorporate a more glamorous make up style into her videos.

Anna knows a thing or do about all things beauty and is always on trend with the latest make up releases. I would love to see her entire make up and beauty collection as I’m sure it is huge. Simplistic often springs to mind when I think of Anna, this also translates into her social media and blog images. Being a huge fan of both drugstore and high end brands, she caters to all audiences.

image

image

By the way, have I mentioned that Anna is friends with beauty blogger extraordinaire, Lily Pebbles. The two best friends share their love of beauty and work together on several projects and YouTube videos. Imagine working closely with your best friend in the world, how amazing would that be?! Having a genuine group of friends within your work setting and blogging community is the best feeling in the world. It must feel like you’re in a bubble talking make up and sharing this with them, perfect job eh?

image

image

image

Remember I was saying earlier about looking at a person and wanting to be friends with them? Here’s another reason why, the laid back Anna is not afraid to laugh at herself. For Halloween you will never see her in a cliché girly costume. Nope, she’ll be the one dresses up as a massive pumpkin. My kind of girl! She also incorporates the two ff’s into her blog – fashion and food. A girl who loves their grub is a favourite of mine, combined with a chic style and the odd chocolate chip recipe then I’m in heaven.

How was everyone’s weekend? Have you all started your Christmas shopping yet? I treated myself to an upgrade yesterday and purchased the HTC One in rose gold. I have not stopped playing with the phone. I love it.

Season of Sequins

Christmas. It’s always a busy time of year, normally I only blog three times a week. However with the festive season around the corner expect a few extra posts here and there. I’m sure all of you lovelies will not mind!

I’ve noticed that a lot of you are really into sequins this season. Pretty standard as the party season is fast approaching, no doubt that all of you are busy trying to find that perfect Christmas party outfit. With this, I thought I would put together a few of my favourite sequin styles that I have came across throughout our darling high street stores.

image

The sequin look can sometimes be a little challenging to pull off due to the quality. There are stores that sell a cheap version and I often find that these do no justice and make your outfit look a little over the top.

The most popular styles that I would lean towards would be the gorgeous midi skirt, longline jackets, tailored blazers, pretty tops and for those of you who are not keen on a full sequin piece, a style with a some sparkle or an accessory incorporated into it.

(Top to bottom: Topshop Midi Skirt – £75 || Zara Jumper – £15.99 || ASOS – Top £35 / Skirt £54 || Warehouse Longline Jacket – £120 || Monsoon Blazer – £99 || Accessorize Clutch – £35.)

When it comes to opting for this kind of look, a little goes a long way. Obviously the two piece gold outfit from ASOS is a complete look but it is a soft style and you have the option to wear the top and skirt as separates.

If sequins make you feel a little nervous then gently add them into your look through accessories or small detailing within a top or jacket. If there are any other topics you would like me to feature whether it’s style or beauty related, please let me know.

Inspirational Blogger || Shine by Three

Ever since I started watching Fashion Bloggers a few weeks ago, I have gained five more bloggers who I find incredibly inspiring. This week I am going to focus on the breathtaking Margaret Zhang from Shine by Three. Her look is one of a classic style, clean cut and chic with a hint of youth.

image

image

For those of you who have never heard of Margaret, she is a a writer, stylist, photographer, and creative director based in Sydney, Australia. Since going online within the fashion industry in 2009, Margaret has gone on to work with global houses including NET-A-PORTER, Nike, VISA, Blackberry Ltd, Shopbop, Mulberry, L’OREAL Paris, NOKIA, MATCHES and Swarovski. Through her blog, each post captures Margaret’s personal style, travels, food, Fashion Weeks adventures and beauty day-to-day are well documented on Shine By Three.

Zhang can create so many different looks, as a fashion blogger I know that not everyone can channel a style and make it work. With a detailed eye for style and hard working attitude to blogging, it is no wonder that Margaret has become an international blogging sensation.

image

image

Like I’ve said previously, Margaret has been catapulted into style stardom as she is currently featuring on E Online’s latest reality television programme called Fashion Bloggers. Herself and four other Australian based bloggers: Sara Donaldson, Zanita Whittington, Kate Waterhouse and Amanda Shadforth share their ambitions, day to day adventures and tips on how to make it in the world of fashion.

image

image

I love a blogger who can create many different looks all while looking fabulous and content in each look. Accessories are huge this season and Margaret is a perfectionist when it comes to styling and photographing her favourite pieces for her various media accounts.

image

image

Obviously the obligatory travel and lifestyle shots need to be included. Finding her inner piece, taking in some breathtaking architecture and posing in amongst natures most beautiful backdrops is a daily job for the magnificent Margaret.

I love a well rounded blogger who is not just about looking pretty. Margaret is a keen surfer and a slight tom boy at heart. She often channels a masculine vibe within her style, quite like a young Coco Chanel. It is great how she can inspire others through blogging and working with fellow ladies within the industry.

You can watch Margaret and her fellow Aussie fashion bloggers tonight on E Online tonight at 9pm, I’m so excited!

P.s… Who is excited for the return of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here??? I never know who most of them are but I love watching them freak out over the trials! Haha.

My Week on Instagram ♥

I have been all about sleeping this week, I often find getting back into a routine after a trip to the States a challenge. I find it hard to ‘fight the sleep’ until a suitable hour. Do any of you have any tips or tricks for jet lag? If so, feel free to leave them in the comment box below.

How has all of you been keeping? It’s sooo strange just how fast this year has been, hard to believe it’s Christmas next month. I seen the Coca Cola advert last night so the countdown has officially started for me. My Instagram has pretty much consisted of things I bought while away, things I wish I had, and the obligatory ‘Instagram quote’, you all know the drill. Anywho, back to business, hope you all enjoy today’s post.

Inspirational Blogger || Kayture

It’s hard to believe that at the age of 21 years old international fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger, Kristina Bazan, has carved herself a successful career blogging and travelling the world. At such a young age, I don’t think I would have been mature enough to truely understand what style is and how to portray it in an elegant manner. Kristina’s blog, Kayture features her daily looks, travelling adventures, meeting her idols and rubbing shoulders with influential beauties at exclusive designer parties.

image

image

I find it mesmerising how a girl of a young age can capture such beautiful moments within her style and channel several different looks all while looking completely comfortable and confident within her own skin and in front of the camera. From flawless ladylike styles to all out youthful rock ‘n’ roll, Kristina has mastered the art of styling for her own personality.

image

image

Having a fun and positive approach to blogging, opening yourself up and part of your life to the public is an essential mind frame in this industry. With most of the inspirational bloggers that I have featured, they understand that travelling a lot and always enjoying their profession to the maximum is the best way to appreciate their success. Sharing these special moments with their readers and social media followers can give their fans a glimpse at their everyday personal life.

image

One particular reason, apart from her style, as to why I adore Kristina’s blog is due to the magnificent photography. A strong blog needs to have clean and crisp photographs in order to have a successful impact on the audience. When working in the fashion industry, having the perfect backdrop is essential. I myself would like to improve my approach to photographing some of my fashion looks within the future.

image

image

image

Of course, I’m a lover of accessories so it is only natural that I follow bloggers who share the same passion. I spend endless hours on Instagram and Pinterest just looking at how others photograph their accessories and finding new ways to update my own personal images. It is great to share your visions as you can inspire so any.

image

If Kristina is not dashing off to VIP after parties for Chloè or New York Fashion Week, you can often find her in the company of inspirational people such as Linda Tol, Sofia Capola and Charlotte Olympia.

Finding fellow fashion and beauty bloggers has really become a hobby of mine. I love spending my Saturday mornings catching up with my favourites and coming across new and inspiring people.
