Tom & Eva

During my crazy shopping spree in Krakow, I came across this beautiful boutique just off the main square that sold thee most adorable handbags.

What I love most about shopping abroad is the new and local designers that are stocked in each shop. The darling little boutiques are adorable and the quality of the bags is amazing.

While I was browsing around the store, I came to a collection called Tom & Eva. They are a Parisian brand that create magnificent leather bags in Italy. The variety of styles and colours were exactly what I look for when it comes to picking handbags. I opted for this fabulous cream tote that I instantly fell in love with.

This is going to seem big headed of me, but, I couldn’t help but include my Chloe wallet in the picture. (For good measure of course!)

From the colour to the style and size, I just can’t get enough of my new fabulous tote! 😉

I haven’t used it yet, but, I’m thinking of wearing it this weekend for my birthday dinner and drinks. If not, then I’ll save it for Belfast Fashion Week. ♥

The interior of the bag is a beautiful silk taupe colour with multiple sections for my belongings. A great bonus for me as I carry around so many things. There was also a long adjustable strap with it, but, I prefer to use just the handles with a bag of this style.

I highly recommend that you all book a trip to Krakow. The shopping is amazing and insanely cheap! 🙂

Happy Hump Day, rascals. I’m currently enjoying my week off! Haha 😉

Simply Sephora: Part 2

At the start of February, I blogged about my first ever shopping trip to Sephora. I shared their nude eyeshadow palette that I bought, and today I’m going to finish off my spree with the rest of my purchases.

image

image

It’s safe to say that I’ve become infatuated with the brand and in particular their eyeshadows. I love how great the pigmentation is in each shade. They’re rich, warm and worth every penny.

image

image

I’m sure you’ve all noticed that I’m a huge fan of natural coloured shadows, so I thought that I would continue my trend and purchase these two breathtaking colours.

image

image

My first choice was this natural shimmer called ‘Romantic Comedy’. It’s more of a warmer shade. I wouldn’t use this kind of colour as an overall base type, but, I would use it on my lid to give my look a little glow.

image

Next, I treated myself to this fabulous glitter shadow called ‘Girl Talk’. Both shadows are long lasting and this second colour is perfect for adding a little sparkle to my make up look. It is a little darker than ‘Romantic Comedy’ but it really pops when it’s applied to the lid. Again, the pigmentation is unbelievable, especially with the glitter running throughout it.

When I’m doing my make up, I will always use a highlighter on my eyes, nose and cheek bones. It emphasises my features and helps to make my skin glow. I prefer a pink/golden tone when using this kind of product. I opted for Sephora’s own brand and added their highlighting compact powder in ‘Rose Pink’ to my shopping spree.

I love the delicate snowflake style imprints on the powder. It makes it even more appealing and I just had to have it. ♥

Finally, my last buy! After sorting out my eyes and cheek bones, I moved onto their lip section. A long lasting, high gloss colour is very important to me when shopping for lip glosses/lipsticks. Again, I went for a natural coloured lipstick pencil shade called ‘Gorgeous Peach’. It gives off a high gloss shine and moisturises my lips all at the same time. Perfection! 🙂

So, that was pretty much my Sephora shopping spree. It’s pretty safe to say that I shopped until I dropped for my first ever experience there.

Simply Sephora

As you all know, last weekend I spent my time relaxing and shopping up quite the storm in Krakow. I was amazed at how cheap everything was from the food to the fashion. Even the beauty buys were in creditably cheap so when I came across a famous beauty superstore, I quickly popped my ‘Sephora cherry’.

image

image

Shocking to admit, but, I’ve never been to one before and I was ecstatic when I realised that Krakow had TWO. Hence my super shopping spree. I was like a kid in a candy store and to be honest at first I felt a little over whelmed as I didn’t know which counter to visit first. However, I soon got into the swing of things and suddenly I was spending a small fortune.

image

The first item on my hit list was this magnificent nude coloured eye shadow palette. I had heard all about Sephora’s own branded make up, so I made sure I treated myself to a little sparkle and shimmer. Browns, golds and coppers are colours that I always wear when doing my eye make up. I have dark brown eyes so I find that these colours work best on my eyes and skin tone.

image

Within the palette there is a collection of highlighters, shadows, eye liners and brushes. I bought this palette for £20 which is an absolute bargain! The pigmentation is quite deep and rich which makes the shadow and colour last longer. I honestly cannot believe how fabulous this palette is for such a purse friendly price! ♥

I can’t wait to use this glorious palette for a night out on the town. I would highly recommend that you all treat yourselves! 😉

I’ll be sharing the rest of my purchases from Sephora with you all very soon! ♥

My weekend in Krakow ♥

On Friday I posted a very quick piece showing all of you some of my pictures from my first day in Krakow, Poland.

As I’m writing this, my Sunday night/post holiday blues have hit home and I’m already missing Poland so much. This is not good!

Anywho, Krakow was honestly amazing. I was surprised at how much I actually loved it. And of course, I managed to squeeze in a little shopping! 😉 ( It would have been rude not to! )

When visiting this beautiful city, it is known for its cheap beer and tourist attractions. I visited Auschwitz concentration camp, but, I’m not going to upload any photos from my time at it. It was hard walking around it and learning more about the terrible torture that went on there.

During our four days in the city, it snowed the entire time we were there which made the scenery look magnificent. The architecture is breath taking and looked so pretty in the snow.

I’m going to be posting about my purchases soon, but, here’s a collection of photos from my trip to look at in the meantime. Enjoy! 🙂
