One final mini tribute to Christmas, my latest Instagram feature is filled with Christmas trees, cute decor and LOTS of new make up purchases. I was very kindly gifted with some beautiful palettes for Christmas. Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate the absolutely beautiful Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay and the Tartelette in Bloom palettes. The UD monochrome packaging is unbelievable and the vibrant Tarte palette is fabulous. (I’m such a sucker for details), the shades are pretty spectacular. I’m getting those good old January blues, (I’m sure I’m not the only one!) I miss all of the sparkle. Although I’m very excited to start 2016 feeling fresh and ready for a new year (as cliché as that sounds). Read More
A brief post today. I’m flat out busy preparing and packing for my trip to Berlin on Friday. As much as I’m unbelievably excited, sorting outfits and making sure I’ve everything ready stresses me out. I find it’s the little things that are nagging as they’re the ones I often forget to pack. Given the fact that I’m an over packer doesn’t help. I won’t exactly be clubbing (actually I never do) but I can’t help but feel the need to bring my entire make up collection with me. Of course the weather comes into play as the rain can mess up a once beautiful outfit. Read More
So December has officially started.. Are you all breaking out the festive films or nervous as you’ve realised just how much you’ve to do?! I’ve popped my Christmas cherry by watching Elf and Miracle on 34th Street to get myself in the spirit. It’s hard to believe how fast this year has went, pretty cliché but it’s true.
I was sooo happy to finally get an OOTD feature up for all of you. Lets hope the weather improves for some more style posts. This week has been all about the Christmas Markets in Belfast (my Instagram is loaded with images), I’ve spent so many evenings walking around sampling food, nibbling on sweet treats and indulging in some Winter accessory shopping. City Hall just looks sooo pretty dressed up for Christmas, such a gorgeous backdrop for the markets.
(Quote from Just Sayin’ Girl).
I also treated myself to my first ever Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadows. The pigmentation is crazy and the texture is absolute heaven! I’ll definitely continue to build my collection, I’m just so happy that Ireland and the UK can finally purchase them!
Christmas has well and truly arrived and to celebrate I’m heading to the Christmas Markets in Belfast. I’m so excited to see what they have to offer, sample some food and of course drink some festive alcohol.
My week on Instagram has been relatively quiet as I’ve been so busy. I’ve yet to snap some shoots using my Olympus E-PL7 camera but I’m hoping to test it out over the weekend.
Hope you all have a good weekend. Apparently snow is coming, time to get the Winter woolies out!
This has been a sickening week for me – I’ve officially lost my voice but on a very exciting note I made my choice regarding my new camera. The magnificent Olympus Pen E-LP7 officially belongs to me. After lengthy research, I decided to go with the Pen as it was better suited for me and what I do. Don’t get me wrong, the Canon 700d sounded unbelievable but I’m happy with my choice. I’ll be sharing which style I opted for over on my Instagram later today so be sure to keep an eye out.
I’ve been absolutely loving the Real Techniques brushes from the bold metals collection. Such luxurious and soft brushes and perfect for creating a flawless look. I hope you’ve all had a great week and an even better weekend.
If any of you have any tips or tricks regarding the Olympus camera, please feel free to leave me a comment. See you all in my next post.
