Having spent a glorious week in Spain, I wanted to share my photo diary of my adventures. I had an incredible time exploring and spending some quality time with my family. If I had my own way I would spend the entire Summer there but unfortunately we all have to get back to reality. Last week I featured a few OOTD posts on the blog and today I’m excited to share my love of Spain and photography. I had been looking forward to my much needed holiday and it was honestly amazing to get away and relax. It has been four years since I was last in Murcia and getting back to the beach and culture was delightful. The weather was MAGNIFICENT and I made the most of the heat and glorious sunshine. Waking up in the morning and heading out to the patio for crossiants and coffee was a great way to start my day.
It has been a while since I wore a midi dress like this one. For a few years it just didn’t suit me as I had insecurities with my weight. Not that it was a big issue but it made the dress emphasise my problem areas. Over the past few months my weight has changed and I thought the dress was perfect for my holiday in Spain. It may mainly consist of dark shades but it is such a cool style to wear in the heat. As it’s a pretty dramatic piece I opted for minimal accessories along with my hair and makeup. The purple shades running throughout the dress are absolutely beautiful, they really popped against the sunshine.
Even though I’m glad to see the end of Summer, I have a few more posts from Spain that I need to feature. I feel like I’m under pressure to get them out before they become dated and aren’t relevant to the current season. So what I’m trying to say is expect a lot of summer style posts in the next two weeks! I can’t wait to get back to the cold crisp days, dark nights and good old Irish dinners. The return of the Sunday dinner will be welcomed with open arms. I’ve a few exciting weeks coming up, starting with the highly anticipated launch of the new KIKO store in Belfast. I cannot wait to get a good look at all of the gorgeous products, it’s one of my favourite brands.
It’s safe to say that the holiday blues have well and truly kicked in. I miss the sun, sea and sangria! The weather here in Ireland is HORRIBLE and it’s not helping with my mood. Although saying that I do love Autumn, I’d rather fast forward to it and skip the end of ‘Summer’. I’ve an exciting event coming up as the new KIKO store opens on Wednesday 31st August. I absolutely love the brand and picked up a few products when I was in Spain. I’m excited to get a private run through of the store and products, need new looks for Autumn. I’ll be sure to blog and Instagram the launch so stay tuned!
A moment I wish I could go back to. Three years ago I was in a breathtaking Spanish town for my brother’s wedding. It was my first time visiting Nerja and I spent two glorious week’s drinking a large amount of alcohol, jet skiing (I thought a flat fish was a sharks fin) and exploring the gorgeous little town. The entire family were there and we celebrated the wedding in style. It was honestly one of the best trips and I would love to rewind time and go back to that moment.
